Who We Are

This blog was created by the students of Ms.B's grade 9 science class at Northern Secondary School.

Our science class had to pick a topic that we were passionate about for a big project. The issue our class decided to focus on is plastics in the ocean. Our mission is to inform, educate and build awareness in the Northern Community about the devastating impacts plastics are having on our oceans. Oceans being polluted by plastics affects people around the world and our wildlife - regardless if you live near an ocean or not.  This issue is one that is constantly growing at an unsustainable rate and one which is harming the environment. The further you read into this website the more insight you will get into how severe this problem is and as well, some ways in which we can help.
